The N.T. Copper Sleeve 322N is a precision single-barrel (round) crimp sleeve manufactured in Japan by N.T. Swivel. Engineered from ductile, seamless copper tubing and finished with an electro-plated nickel coating, the 322N provides uniform compression and maximum holding power for terminal wire traces, nylon monofilament, and fluorocarbon leaders.

Key Features

  • Seamless Copper Core: Soft, annealed marine-grade copper crushes consistently under crimping pliers, molding around line fibers without cracking or shearing.

  • Nickel Plating (322N): Protective nickel barrier resists saltwater corrosion, oxidization, and galvanic reactions when paired with stainless steel wire or swivels.

  • Precision Beveled Edges: Deburred, rounded ends eliminate sharp contact points, preventing line cuts and leader chafing during heavy sudden strikes.

  • Low-Profile Single Barrel: Slim tubular design minimizes water resistance, passes through guides smoothly, and reduces rig visibility.

  • Made in Japan: Produced under tight dimensional tolerances for uniform wall thickness and reliable crimp retention.

Recommended Applications

  • Wire Trace Rigging: Securing multi-strand stainless steel, nylon-coated wire, and single-strand wire for toothy pelagics (barracuda, mackerel, wahoo, and sharks).

  • Mono & Fluorocarbon Connections: Terminal loops on monofilament/fluorocarbon leaders for offshore trolling, jigging, and deep-drop bottom rigs.

  • Assist Hook & Lure Building: Building compact, high-strength connections on solid rings, split rings, and assist cord assemblies.
