The Omorig rig has become an indispensable tool in metal jigging. Designed for casting, it offers the advantage of targeting areas unreachable with metal jigs, and situations with strong currents, allowing anglers to catch that extra squid during slower times or target larger squid that are wary of the light of fish-attracting lights. The Calamaretti UX, specifically designed for Omorig fishing, has been renewed. It's perfect for beginners, as well as a secondary rod for veterans and a great companion for metal jigging.

BLANK MATERIAL & TECHNOLOGY
High-elasticity carbon is used to create a slender, lightweight yet firm blank. The butt section is made of Graphite Cross LV, which reduces weight while adjusting torsional and crushing rigidity for optimal feel.

The 632ML-S and 672M-S models feature Olympic's proprietary original carbon reel seat "OP-02" in a down-locking configuration. The 702MMH-T model features a lightweight, slim VSS reel seat (currently undergoing a running change to an unpainted specification) in an up-locking configuration.
