We’ve succeeded in installing a compact DC brake unit on a small-diameter spool by downsizing the DC system. This innovation, combined with a low-inertia spool that enables quick start-up, results in casting performance that excels across the board: low trajectory accuracy, long-distance casting, and exceptional backlash control, even with lightweight lures.
The reel is equipped with the newly evolved I-DC5, offering precision braking control in 1/1000-second increments. Its 15-stage adjustment system allows anglers to easily fine-tune settings for any line type, ensuring optimal performance in every situation.
Enhanced casting smoothness and reduced vibration are achieved through the integration of MGL Spool IV, SILENT TUNE, and S3D technologies. These innovations maximize the spool's rotational efficiency while minimizing power loss.
