By blending the highly coveted Airdrive architecture with the enhanced hardware of the "EX" line, this series sets a massive new benchmark for budget-friendly spinning reels.

• Airdrive Design: The headline upgrade for this generation. By re-engineering the rotor, bail, and spool, Daiwa has significantly lightened the front end of the reel. This shifts the center of gravity backward toward the rod grip, drastically reducing rotational inertia. The result is a much lighter, effortless handle turn and better overall rod balance.

• ATD Type-L Drag System: An evolution of the standard Automatic Tournament Drag. Type-L improves drag response at the initial hookset, smoothly paying out line under sudden pressure spikes without the "stickiness" or startup lag that frequently snaps lighter lines.

• Toughdigigear: Digitally designed, high-strength main gearing that ensures precise gear teeth meshing, maximizing power transfer and longevity.

• LC-ABS (Long Cast ABS Spool): Features a modified double-lipped edge that reduces friction against the line as it leaves the spool, extending casting distance while preventing wind knots.

• 6/1 Ball Bearings: The signature feature of the "EX" trim remains. Keeping a 6-bearing system ensures a significantly smoother, more premium retrieve compared to standard entry-level reels.

• The Finesse Pick (LT1000/2000-XH): Weighing a meager 190g, these are built for ultra-light tactics, AJI fishing, stream trout, and panfish.

• The Squid & Eging Specialist (LT2500S-XH-DH): Features a shallow spool (S) and a Double Handle (DH). The double handle provides immaculate rotational balance, which is highly favored by anglers who jig repeatedly for squid or work finesse lures where line slack control is crucial.

• The All-Rounder (LT3000D-CXH): Features a deep spool (D) and a compact body (C). It punches above its weight class with 10kg of drag power, making it an excellent option for bass, walleye, and general estuary lure casting.

• The Heavy Hitter (LT5000D-CXH): Offering 12kg of drag and swallowing 300 meters of PE 2.5 line, this gives light-shore casting and inshore saltwater anglers plenty of winching power and capacity without the heavy physical weight of a traditional large reel body.
