OVERVIEW

Daiwa introduces the 26’ Freams LT, a hybrid spinning reel built for both freshwater and inshore saltwater fishing. The 26 Freams LT packs both lightweight performance and corrosion resistance in a wallet friendly package.

With Daiwa’s MAGSEALED technology, The 26 Freams LT stays smoother longer than other reels of its class. The main shaft of the 26 Freams LT is sealed from the corrosive properties of saltwater as well as the silt and algae present in freshwater lakes and ponds.

Furthering the 26 Freams LT premium feel, AIRDRIVE DESIGN components are integrated into its construction. The AIRDRIVE SPOOL reduces overall weight while maintaining strength, providing a more accurate drag response and features a raised edge on the lower skirt to prevent line from running underneath. The ZAION V AIRDRIVE ROTOR is lighter and perfectly balanced while the re-enforced lightweight tubular AIRDRIVE BAIL provides effortless line management and rotational balance. These two features keep the reel light and maximize sensitivity by eliminating vibration while maintaining strength. All of these components are housed within the light and rigid ZAION V body.

AIRDRIVE BAIL

Designed with a smaller diameter, reducing the weight of the front unit, while still providing strength. In comparison to previous light weight models, weight is reduced by 33% (2500 size). The angle of the bail has also been altered, improving line management by guiding the line through the line roller with ease.

AIRDRIVE ROTOR

A newly developed Rotor maintains the strength of previous designs, while significantly reducing weight. a 16% weight reduction from previous light weight models allows for trouble free, flawless rotation

AIRDRIVE SPOOL

A new spool skirt design to further reduces weight for improved oscillation, less resistance during rotation and better overall balance of the reel.

MAGSEALED BODY

Ultimate protection is delivered to the engine room of the reel with a magnetised oil seal located on the main shaft of the reel’s rotor shutting the door to the elements and unwanted intruders. Dust, water, and salt intrusion into the inner workings of a reel are a thing of the past with MagSeal.
